Why FairerQuote exists
We want to make it easier for customers to compare real offers, while giving local businesses a simple way to win work without a monthly subscription.
For businesses
Businesses can browse jobs and submit offers for free. We do not charge a monthly subscription.
More transparency
Offers show price and scope in a structured way, making it easier to compare what is actually being offered.
How our model works
Customers do not pay FairerQuote to post a job. Businesses do not pay for an account or simply to submit offers. A business’s first confirmed win is free; later wins carry a fixed £5–£100 success fee depending on the value of the accepted offer.

- an online marketplace and introduction service connecting customers with independent businesses;
- a place to post jobs and compare offers;
- a tool that helps structure uploaded quotes, including optional AI-assisted analysis.
What FairerQuote is not
- we do not carry out the work and do not employ the contractors;
- we are not a party to the work contract between the customer and business;
- we do not guarantee workmanship or certify that a price is “fair” as a professional valuation.
Privacy matters
Original quote documents are not made available to ordinary businesses. Customer contact details remain hidden until the selected business confirms the job and pays the applicable fee or receives the first-win waiver.
